The Digital Marketing Manager takes ownership for the full Daily Paper Digital core marketing strategy and shares the responsibility to drive growth and help generate revenue in all digital channels. This person will partner with both the brand marketing and content creation teams on full-funnel digital consumer journey activations. In addition, this person will work closely with the .com team to optimise digital experiences both globally and locally to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention online.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategy & Operations

Develop and drive a clear .com (ecommerce, community hub and brand) marketing vision and roadmap that optimizes existing channels and generates new and innovative sources of sessions

  • Develop and drive a specific digital marketing strategy for .com and ensure an efficient realization across all key countries

  • Build and maintain the annual digital marketing budget and planning to ensure global and local marketing goals are aligned and achieved

  • Plan, manage and improve digital marketing strategies and build business cased for new initiatives, measuring results and ROI at all times

  • Oversee all vendor and agency relationships, including scope development and continuous optimization

  • Connect the dots between Ecommerce, Creative, Brand and Retail team members to deliver a cohesive translation of the brand strategy into integrated digital marketing plans and campaigns that connect with consumer experience(s) to increase awareness, consideration and conversion

  • Provide direction, motivate, support and inspire a team to successfully lead the brand into the digital future, developing strategic and operational acumen

  • Deliver regular, clear, and actionable reports on Digital Marketing performance to the wider team

Performance Marketing & CRM

  • Lead all .com marketing activities including but not limited to acquisition, search, email, advertising, retention, loyalty and affiliate marketing

  • Be the financial expert that leads all team members to optimize marketing spends, achieve ROAS targets and make critical financial decisions that affect the company’s top and bottom line; must be articulate in reporting results and recommendations

  • Oversee our CRM from architecture, identification and collection, audience creation & strategies to reporting and connectivity/utilization across our tools.

  • Provide expertise, vision and leadership to define and implement customer relationship marketing programs and initiatives that successfully build profitable, long-term customer value.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years relative experience with 3+ years in a leadership role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar field required; Master’s degree preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, digital channel and marketing concepts, platforms, tactics and technologies

  • Excellent analytical skills and able to make informed and strategic decisions

  • Ability to juggle multiple, and sometimes, conflicting priorities and needs

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

  • Excellent collaborator, with the ability to align stakeholder objectives

  • Up to date knowledge of market changes and fashion trends

  • Excellence in budget management and financial acumen

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Specific experience in CRM

  • Commercial mindset
