E-commerce Site Operations Intern

Daily Paper is looking for an Ecommerce Site Operations Intern. The E-Commerce Site Operations Intern will be the key support for our Ecommerce Site Operations Specialist. You will be introduced to the day-to-day site management for DP.com globally, including but not limited to product launch, photography production, Copy production, localization, business operation and technical merchandising(product tagging).

Key responsibilities

  • Support the asset management for DP.com to implement, maintain, and facilitate best in class asset management practices and procedures across the organization.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement methodologies to improve processes, understand, contain, and prioritize projects within the E-commerce function.

  • Support Site Operations Specialist with the overall governance and alignment within the business to make sure DP.com brand guidelines are honoured.

  • Partner to the Head of Ecommerce & head of Marketing in developing strategic plans for the DP.com business related to product content & assets.

  • You will be the main support for DP digital product launch readiness by loading and/or importing content, translations and assets into the PIM (Product Information Management) system or DAM (Digital Asset Management) tools for all DP flagship stores.

  • Follow up with internal functions for any missing or incomplete assets.

  • Liaise with design, product and marketing stakeholders for sign-off / approval at key gates of readiness.

  • Perform basic Quality Control on product content & completeness.

  • Merchandiser Support that covers all tasks related to merchandising products on the website thru tagging.

  • Provide support to buyers and merchandisers on questions related to getting products on the website.

Job requirements

  • Interest in e-commerce and its operation.

  • Sharp eye for detail and consistency. Great organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to build relationships with other internal and external teams and functions for personal and business development.

  • Experience working with brand and digital marketing.

  • Flexible, well-organized and a positive "can-do" attitude are a must. Can adapt to an ever-changing online environment brand-focused retail environment with an understanding of the fashion sector is a plus.

  • Fluency in English is a must. Other European language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.

  • Solutions-driven self-starter with confidence and initiative.

  • Keen attention to detail in execution of tasks.

  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and meet tight deadlines.
