We’re currently looking for an HR Assistant to join our HR Team. As HR Assistant you will assist in a big part of the admin side of HR. This includes managing data, and maintaining our employee database in our HR system but also involves a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings between candidates and managers to posting job ads and ensuring the on- and offboarding of employees and interns runs smoothly. You’ll be working closely with the HR Advisor to develop and implement more efficient processes and ensure the best service to our employees.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist in HR administration and employee life cycle, including on- and off- boarding, changes during the employment, and contract management

  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations etc.)

  • Update and manage personnel records by utilizing our HRIS

  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)

  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations

  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews

  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees

  • Contribute to team projects

Job requirements

  • Relevant MBO degree or higher in HRM and 1-2 years experience in a similar role

  • Proven experience in managing general administrative people topics such as contract and absence management etc.

  • Basic knowledge of Dutch labor law and work practices

  • Detail-oriented approach to work and ability to handle confidential information

  • Excellent communication skills, empathetic, analytic, accurate, have a proactive mindset, and high service-orientated

  • Native Dutch and fluent in English
