Production & Design Intern

As a Production & Design Intern, you will support both the Design and Product Development teams in the creation and production of menswear, and accessories collections. You will be involved throughout the product development cycle, from trend research and design development to technical documentation, fittings, and production support.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both creative design and product development within a fast-paced fashion environment. You will work closely with designers, product developers, and production teams while developing a broad understanding of the fashion development process.

Design Support

• Conduct trend and market research to support seasonal collection development.

• Create concept boards, mood boards, and trend presentations.

• Research fabrics, trims, and garment construction techniques.

• Assist in the design and development of menswear, and accessories collections.

• Create technical drawings and design illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.

• Prepare and update technical packs (tech packs).

• Support communication between Design and Technical Development teams.

• Assist during fittings and implement design-related feedback.

Product Development

• Assist during fit sessions and record fitting comments.

• Track and maintain measurements of incoming samples.

• Prepare size charts, grading specifications, and product measurements.

• Support Product Developers and Production Managers with daily operational tasks.

• Maintain and update development and production overviews.

• Assist with sample management and follow-up processes.

• Support special projects related to product development and production.

• Ensure accurate documentation throughout the development process.

• Currently enrolled in an MBO, HBO, Bachelor's, or equivalent education in Fashion Design, Fashion Development, Fashion Tailoring, Pattern Making, or a related field.

• Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, measurements, and grading principles.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.

• Good Excel and administrative skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Eager to learn with a proactive, hands-on attitude.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.

• Available for an internship period of at least 5–6 months.

• Currently living in the Netherlands and enrolled in an educational institution.
  

For this position, we're looking for interns who can start in the beginning of September 2026. For this internship position we only consider applicants who are already living in the Netherlands and are enrolled in an educational institution.
